1. Course introduction: Do you want to learn Mandarin Chinese in a fragrant tea
homeland? Our Summer Camp in Tea Homeland will allow you to learn Chinese while
enjoying the colorful tea culture.
2. Camp period & hours: July-August, 2023, four weeks in total, including 60-hour
instruction, 21-hour cultural classes, and 24-hour field trip, which comes to 105 hours
in total.
3. Tuition fee:
(1) NT$21000 元+ NT$500 (new student registration fee) ≅ US$740 per person
(2) This amount includes materials for cultural classes and all the fees for field trips,
but NOT the textbook and workbook, living expenses and housing rent for 4
weeks in Chiayi.
(3) This camp will be offered if there are at least 5 people enrolled.
4. Textbook: A Course in Contemporary Chinese, Book 1-1 (NT$700 ≅ US$24.00)
5. Target: People who are over 18 years old, with zero or very beginning Chinese
proficiency

7. Notes:
(1) The camp will be offered when there are at least 5 people enrolled, and the
maximum size is 20 people.
(2) You may have 10% off the tuition fee when there are at least 3 people registering
as a group.
(3) Please find your own accommodation when staying in Chiayi, Taiwan during the
camp period. We do NOT offer any dormitories or accommodations for students
coming for a short-term stay, but we could offer related housing information.
(4) Foreign students must obey the regulations of Taiwan Central Epidemic Command
Center on immigration procedures and quarantine, and pay for related fees, which
are not included in the tuition fee they pay to NCYU.
