CGU-SUTD Dual Master Program in Nano-Electronic Engineering and Design

The CGU-SUTD Dual Master Program in Nano-Electronic Engineering and Design (NEED) is an 18-month program established between Chang Gung University (CGU), Taiwan, and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore. Students take most of the courses related to advanced knowledge of nano-electronics and semiconductor manufacturing in Taiwan in the first 9 months. Afterwards, students conduct industry-related research project in Singapore in the following 9 months. Students will respectively obtain two master's degrees from CGU and SUTD upon the successful completion of coursework and research internship. The NEED program aims at training international and advanced project leaders in nano-electronics and semiconductor industry. Students will undergo a unique and creative learning experience that encompasses the full value of cross-disciplinary studies in engineering. Chang Gung University is founded by world’s top 3 petrochemical group—the Formosa Plastics Group, which also operates the world’s 4th Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) company—the Nanya Technology. CGU-SUTD Dual Master Program in Nano-Electronic Engineering and Design provides students with opportunities in research and area studies that will enable students to accumulate engineering expertise and competence in the 5/6G world.
