CJCU-Rei SHIMIZU from Japan

I firstly attended CJCU’s Chinese Language and Culture Experiencing Online Course last spring break. I felt quite happy to learn Chinese at that time. More than the language itself, I learned Taiwanese culture as well.

I really want to come to CJCU and learn Chinese since then, so I chose CJCU to be the school for my overseas study. The teachers and the people in the Chinese center are very kind.

My Chinese ability has really improved since I came here. I use the Chinese language a lot every day in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. I learned Chinese in Japan, but in Japan, teachers use Japanese to teach Chinese. In fact, I didn’t know how to use this new language. It is different in the CJCU's Chinese class. Teachers taught us all in Chinese. Obviously, my Chinese improves a lot in a short period of time!

The CJCU Chinese Language Center also offers an art class on traditional Chinese painting. In fact, I was annoyed about this class at first. However, the teacher gave me tips on how to draw well, and we chatted together during class. At the end of this class, I found that I enjoyed a lot in learning this cultural class. I feel quite impressed with it.
I planned to study in Taiwan for six months, but now I feel it may be too short. I really enjoyed my study at CJCU Chinese Language and Culture Center!
