At CJCU, I majored in Digital Media Design and minored in Mass Communication. Four years of studying fills this period with challenges, significant personal growth, and unforgettable memories.
Upon entering university, I was passionate about behind-the-scenes production, so I changed my major to Digital Media Design. Throughout this journey, I learned various design skills, such as computer graphics, web design, and animation production. Each class felt like a new window opening, deepening my appreciation for the allure of design.
My experience was greatly enriched by participating in a support camp for children in the Liu Gui district of Kaohsiung. Over five days, I had the chance to meet local children. We helped them with their schoolwork during the day and played fun games in the evening. The children were warm and eager to learn, which deeply moved me. I was sad they didn't have many educational resources, which made me even more determined to help them. At first, we were strangers, but we developed a stronger emotional bond as we spent more time together. They began to share their hobbies, dreams, and personal stories with me, which brought me much happiness and inspired me greatly
This experience was crucial for my personal growth and development. It deepened my passion for utilizing my professional knowledge and skills to support and empower those in need. It also emphasized CJCU's commitment to implementing University Social Responsibility (USR) projects, which gave me and other students opportunities to make a meaningful impact. Thanks to CJCU's dedication to USR initiatives, I had the chance to contribute to ensuring equitable access to education and opportunities. This experience profoundly shaped my perspective and career path.
As I reflect on my time at CJCU during my university years, I realize the value of every lesson learned and the friendships I made. These experiences have helped me gain a better understanding of myself and the world around me. My time at CJCU was not just a part of my education but also a crucial stage in my personal development, and it is filled with special memories that I will always cherish.
