As a business administration student, I’ve witnessed Taiwan’s geographical structure due to its importance in economic development. Taiwan is located in East Asia, with a 24 million population. Shorelines, plains, hills, dales, and mountains designed by geodynamics movements make Taiwan geographically unique. Its natural resources involve gold, coal, petroleum, natural gas, etc. This democratic country attracts foreign investors by holding transparency, accountability, and an e-government system. Here, we should not forget semiconductor production which accounts for more than 50% of global market. The government manages its material and human resources well for economic growth. Thus, Taiwan has become an export-led nation in the world.
Skillful human resources are generated by the education industry. As the government considers education the nation’s major pillar, they’re in harmony with institutions for education, research, and societal development. Universities and the government also open opportunities for foreign students, and hence, students from low-income nations like Myanmar also have a chance to experience a world-class education. I’m also a MOE scholarship recipient studying at the Chaoyang University of Technology (CYUT). CYUT’s experienced faculty, well-developed curriculum, conducive learning environment, and modern facility are the added assets bringing me to the international standard education environment.
Furthermore, we experience quality health care and human rights in Taiwan. Its health care system is a world-class standard characterized by great accessibility, modern facilities, population coverage, and low cost. Additionally, every citizen satisfactorily possesses human rights. There is no gender discrimination and I’m highly impressed with legal LGBT rights. It indicates that Taiwanese people give equal respect to all people.
If I have to point out a country in line with economics, education, health care, and society, I am undoubtedly certain to choose Taiwan. The government has well built its nation into a diverse pool of disciplines in recent decades. Today, we have perceived that there is always something made by Taiwan in the technologies we use. The country has become a destination for investors, scholars, and visitors due to its resources, education system, health care, and open-minded community.
