Established in 1999, our Department of Digital Media Design was the first to fuse the realms of "digital media" and "interactive design" in Taiwan, offering students a curriculum that emphasizes the symbiosis of design and technology. We empower our students to innovate in various spheres, from product creation to web and game development, while interlacing the richness of arts and humanities to create a cohesive educational experience that evolves with the technological frontiers, thus sculpting the future of media design.
Our broad curriculum encompasses design principles, visual and animation design, as well as interactive, interface, and user experience design. State-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive internship opportunities provide our students with deep insights into the real-world implications of digital design. Integrating creative thinking with aesthetic principles, our courses leverage the STEAM educational framework, harmonizing diverse professional studies with experiential learning. Hands-on projects offer students the chance to gain invaluable practical experience, meet the needs of the industry, and develop versatile skills.
At our core, we are dedicated to nurturing talent that is both artistically elegant and professionally adept. We strive to produce graduates who are not only proficient in areas such as advertising, visual and packaging design, game creation, and interactive arts but also excel in web, 2D, and 3D animation within the digital media sector. Our aim is to cultivate well-rounded individuals with a flair for humanistic values, creative innovation, aesthetic fluency, and a profound grasp of digital trends, aligning them with the dynamic currents of the digital media landscape today.
