Department of Fashion and Accessories Design

Established in 2016, the Fashion and Accessories Design Department is the first department under technical and vocational education level that targets on this area in Taiwan. It is devoted to cultivate professionals with observation and esthetics viewpoint towards international fashion culture, and the abilities of executing and performing.

♦   Our faculty earned their degrees from renowned schools around the world, and has long term practical experience with the industry. We also invite Taiwanese entrepreneurs and professionals from international fashion brands as our guest faculty.

♦   Our courses are centered on "functional clothes and accessories design" and "bag design". With topic oriented and situated teaching, we aim to cultivate aesthetics and humanism qualities.

♦   Students will be tutored with pattern making and clothes construction techniques by champion in women's wear category of The World Skills Competition. Also, they will be mentored for national license examination and international competitions.

♦   Students are encouraged for advanced studies abroad at our sister schools in Europe, America, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, and Australia for international perspectives.

♦   We have collaborate projects among the fashion industry elites, related government bodies, and researchers to create both domestic and international internship opportunities. Students will finish their courses within 3 and a half year, and intern full time during the second semester of their senior year in order to prepare for their career path right upon graduate.
