About Us
Established on February 1, 2018, through the merger of Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences, Kaohsiung Marine University, and the First Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, NKUST is one of Taiwan's largest universities. The university is expanding with plans for a sixth campus, which will increase its land area to 225.36 hectares.
With a strong commitment to innovation, NKUST has led initiatives in digital transformation, organizational optimization, and the integration of teaching and research to enhance educational effectiveness. We aim to foster a global learning environment by improving English proficiency, offering diverse learning opportunities, and promoting international exchange.
NKUST currently comprises 10 colleges, including Engineering, Intelligent Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Maritime, Marine Commerce, Management, Business Intelligence, Foreign Languages, Innovation and Design, and General Education, along with the Cross College Elite Tech Program.
