Hello, my name is Hiên. I major in Chinese Language and Literature at NUU right now. Before this period, I came to Taiwan as a Chinese studying student in 2019. I started my mandarin joinery at National United University Chinese Language Center.
The memory is still vivid in my brain. I remembered that in the first class I joined, I was worried my language is not good to express myself. But thanks to my teacher’s guidance and help, I got more confident while talking with local people. Besides the class, the teacher introduced the living culture and share the reality here. I also join the cultural trip to get familiar with Chinese tradition.
After learning for a while here, the teacher helped me to pass the TOCFL exam. I got the TOCFL Band 3 certificate and successfully apply for a college degree. During these periods, I had learned lots of things and enhance my mandarin ability. In addition, I met many college students here, we sometimes exercised and joined the intercultural activities together. The teachers and classmates are friendly here.
Today I am a college student at NUU. As an international bridge student, I am familiar with the same place but a different learning environment. I really appreciate the kind team members at the Chinese Language Center. Hope to see you in NUU soon!
