Taiwan Education Fair News
In the summer of 2021, the Chinese Language Center of Soochow University, Taipei, successfully launched two synchronized online programs for universities in Japan and the US. They both received high regards from the American and Japanese students. The core of the programs was of course Chinese language. A spiral teaching methodology was adopted. Learners were repeatedly connecting new words with the old ones. Making it easier to retain vocabulary and syntax. Aside from that, our faculty were able to design and make the online culture class interesting with games, songs, puzzle, role play, etc. It also received high applauses. Next February in 2022, a similar program is set to take place under the request of one of the schools in Japan.
Since early 2020, the world has suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic in every aspect of life. People had to get used to doing things on the Internet. It fosters the digital age even further. Now, people are used to the net classes. That makes it easy for learners from every corner of the world to take the Chinese program across the Internet with friends from different nations.
