The program of Digital Technology is included in the courses of the department of Business Management (BM). The purpose of the program is to provide digital technology-related courses especially for students without information technology background. The program enables students to have the core ability to not only solve professional problems in the field with digital technology, but also communicate and cooperate with people in information technology and different fields of expertise, thereby applying digital technology to solve practical problems in the industry. Course offerings are described as follow: (1) Python Programming, a basic compulsory course with 3 credits, (2) Data Analysis and Processing, a core elective course with 3 credits, (3) Machine Learning, an advanced elective course with 3 credits, (4) Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Application, an applied elective course with 3 credits, (5) Digital Marketing, an applied elective course with 3 credits. Students can obtain a certificate of study for the program after completing 3 courses with 9 credits. Furthermore, students can take the python programming exam of IT Specialist Certification offered through Certiport, so to demonstrate that they can recognize, write, and debug Python code that will logically solve a problem.
