Smart Healthcare Management (SHM)

The Master Program in Smart Healthcare Management (SHM) focuses on cross-field research and teaching. Its uniqueness lies in combining the three fields of information technology, management, and healthcare to create a digitized healthcare system, connecting available medical resources and healthcare services. The program aims at providing courses in biomedical electronics, biomedical information, biomedical imaging, artificial intelligence diagnosis, clinical engineering, medical data analysis, medical record management, healthcare management, strategic management, medical material marketing management, financial management, and corporate social responsibility.

Students in this program will be divided into two groups: one is competent healthcare, and the other is medical technology and management. Combining the research and teaching facilities of three colleges of NTPU (International College of Sustainability and Innovations, the College of Business, and the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science), the instructors for hospital management courses are mainly from Taipei Medical University, one of our Partner of University System of Taipei. This program also recruits radiologists and medical practitioners from a Sanxia local hospital, the En-Chu-Kong Hospital, to lecture fundamental medical courses. The graduates are expected to become a bridge between the National Taipei University and their home countries to deepen and strengthen international cooperation in brilliant healthcare management research.
